Kang Ji young

Kang Jiyoung or known by the name JY is a South Korean actress and singer based in Japan. She is a former member of the Korean girl group Kara.

Kang Jiyoung was born on January 18, 1994, in Paju, South Korea. She debuted at the age ofas a third grade middle school student. She is one of themembers that joined after member Kim Sung Hee left. She sang Girls Generations song Kissing You for her audition. Kang is the cousin of the Korean pop singer NS YoonG.
